  Manufacturing Processes

Welded Steel Grating: Bearing bars and cross bars are joined by high-pressure resistance welding, ensuring strong joints and stable load capacity.

Press-Locked Grating: Bearing bars are notched and interlocked with cross bars, then locked under high pressure. This provides a flat, uniform surface and enhanced aesthetics.Custom Fabrication: We provide cutting, framing, nosing, hinges, or special welding based on project drawings, ensuring precise installation.

  Surface Treatments

To ensure durability in humid and corrosive environments, surface protection is critical:

  Hot-Dip Galvanizing (Recommended)

  Standards: ASTM A123 / BS EN ISO 1461 / ISO 1461

Zinc thickness: ≥70 μm (standard); ≥85–100 μm (recommended for long-term projects)

Service life: 10–20 years in normal outdoor conditions, 7–15 years in coastal areas

Features: complete coverage, strong adhesion, high resistance to mechanical damage

Electro-Galvanizing: Zinc layer 5–15 μm, limited corrosion resistance, suitable for indoor or temporary use.

Painting / Powder Coating: Provides color options, but lower protection compared to hot-dip galvanizing.

  Types of Steel Grating

Welded Steel Grating – Most common, strong and versatile.

Serrated Steel Grating – Enhanced slip resistance, ideal for wet or oily environments.

Press-Locked Grating – Smooth and flat surface, preferred in architectural or decorative projects.

Trench & Drain Covers – With frames or hinges, designed for municipal drainage and parking lots.

Stair Treads – With side plates and nosing for safe access in industrial platforms.

Custom Grating – Tailored to project drawings and specifications.

  Technical Specifications

Bearing Bar Sizes: 25×3 mm, 30×3 mm, 32×5 mm, 40×5 mm

Bearing Bar Pitch: 30 mm / 40 mm

Cross Bar Pitch: 50 mm (standard) / 100 mm

Surface Finish: Hot-dip galvanized (recommended), electro-galvanized, painted

Load Standards: Designed to meet ANSI/NAAMM MBG 531, EN 1991-1-1, and other international requirements

  Key Considerations for Buyers

Corrosion Resistance: Hot-dip galvanized steel grating with ≥85 μm zinc layer is strongly recommended for long-term use.

Load Requirements: Selection depends on pedestrian or vehicular loads; we provide structural calculations upon request.

Installation:Options include framed panels, hinged covers, or prefabricated stair treads for easy assembly.

Delivery & Inventory: Standard sizes are available in stock; custom orders have controlled production cycles.

Packaging & Shipping: Bundled with steel straps or pallets to prevent deformation and zinc loss during sea transport.

Quality Assurance: Products can be supplied with third-party inspection reports (SGS, BV, CE).

  Application Recommendations

Municipal Drainage & Roads → Welded trench covers, hot-dip galvanized

Industrial Platforms & Walkways → Serrated steel grating for slip resistance

Staircases & Access Routes → Stair treads with nosing for safety

Architectural & Commercial Projects → Press-locked grating for a clean appearance
